What we store
- Your mobile number, and the name you choose to show.
- The ads you post, including their photos.
- Messages you send to other users through the site.
Who can see your number
The contact number on an ad is visible to anyone who opens that ad, because that is how buyers reach you. If you prefer a different number from the one you log in with, enter it in the ad form.
Sending your login code
To send your login code, we give your mobile number and the code to the service that delivers the message: WhatsApp (run by Meta) or an SMS company. We give them nothing else.
If you log in with WhatsApp, you send a message from your own WhatsApp to Bazaar's number. WhatsApp (run by Meta) passes that message and the number it came from to us, and we use the number only to log you in.
What we do not do
- We do not sell your information or give it to anyone, apart from delivering your login code as described above.
- We do not send advertising messages to your number.
- Login codes are stored only as an encrypted fingerprint and expire within minutes.
Cookies
The site keeps two small pieces of data in your browser: one to keep you logged in, and one to remember your chosen language. There is no advertising or tracking cookie.
Deleting your data
You can delete your ads yourself from “My ads”. To have your account and messages removed, write to us on the contact page.
